For Those New Year’s Resolutions

04 Jan

If the crowd at the gym this week is any indication, people are resolving to be more fit in the year 2013.  January is a time when we typically assess our health and make resolutions to eat better, run more, and watch less TV.

In the spirit of resolution-making, we’ve put up a display in the library with books about mental and physical health.  Come and check out Use Your Brain to Change Your Age, Pilates for Every Body, Eat This and Live, 101 Ways to Work out with Weights, and How to Strengthen Your Memory.  We’ve got books and DVD’s for all ages and interests!  So if you’re just not sure how to start working toward your new goals, come to the library for a little help from the experts.

(And I might add that a resolution to read more and visit your neighborhood library more often couldn’t hurt either!)
